Today's assignment has TWO PARTS!
(to be completed before Wednesday's class (White 1 & White 3 classes) or Thursday (Blue 2 class)):

PARTIE UNE:
I would like you to refer to the quizlet page below and review the numbers 0-60!!!
You should complete the "SPELLER" activity!!! You have a goal of 88% or higher!!!
(20 minutes max to complete this exercise!)
Make sure that the activity is set to DEFINITION - see pic below!

PARTIE DEUX:
Once you have complete this review, I'd like you to switch to the below quizlet.
You should complete the "LEARN" activity! You have a goal of 85% or higher!!!
(15 minutes max to complete this exercise!)
Make sure that "See French First" is checked on the left! - see pic below!

Once you have finished, you should post your scores in the comments section of our blog! (Don't worry, these scores will not be published publicly)

Remember that you have a TEST this Friday over Unit 1A!!! We will begin our Unit 1B study after the test!!!

French I Assignment #2 - Due Wednesday 8/13 or Thursday 8/14

Bonjour classe!!!

For this section of our FIRST UNIT, we are exploring NOUNS & ARTICLES!!!

We've already gone over our vocabulary in class- we'll keep visiting that throughout this unit! And it'll definitely come in handy while you're speaking in class too!!!

In this video, we look at how nouns are classified in French into number and gender. YES, French nouns have a gender!!! How crazy!!!

Take a look at the video and then we you'll have a short homework assignment to complete!

French II Assignment #2! - Due Wednesday 8/13 or Thursday 8/14

Bonjour Classe!!!

So in class, we spoke about the Passé Composé and we learned how to form the IMPARFAIT tense.

These two videos both cover the Vocabulary section of the Preliminary Unit and the Passé Composé tense vs. the Imparfait.

Take the time to work through this first video that covers the vocabulary section of our unit.
VIDEO - PART 1 - VOCABULARY

1st part of assignment:
There are 10 questions at the bottom of page 19 to complete. Post your responses on the comment section of the blog.

Then watch the second video which covers Passé composé and Imparfait.
VIDEO - PART 2 - PASSÉ COMPOSÉ & IMPARFAIT

The second part assignment is to go to this website and search for an apartment in Paris. Your budget is 1.500 Euros and you must choose an apartment with 2 "piéces".
Link to find a Paris Apartment - just choose one that would suit you!

The last part of your assignment is to recount what you did over this past 4th of July. Use the Passé Composé in 3 sentences and the imparfait with 3 sentences. (6 sentences total)
The sentences do not have to be long at all!! Keep it simple. Focus on the formation of the tenses and not on the content of the sentences.
